Ink style digital signatures are used throughout Quantum MX to sign off work items, logbook entries, and inspection of incoming or outgoing parts. This feature is integrated in all of the right places to help your team adhere to your operational and regulatory requirements in the most efficient manner possible.
Technicians and inspectors may sign off work performed documentation with an ink style digital signature. Quantum MX keeps track of items where signature is required (RII) and reports the signature completion level. Inspectors can quickly locate work order items that require an inspector signoff and apply their signature in a manner that is time efficient.
Quantum MX signatures are drawn using a tablet device or computer mouse, creating a legal signature that is attributable to the user's handwriting. Quantum MX signature features are compliant with the FAA's guidance on electronic signatures and digital record keeping per AC120-78A.
A&Ps and authorized inspectors may sign aircraft and component logbook entries digitally, creating a signed PDF document prior to printing to paper. This method creates an authenticated PDF original document that may be emailed, printed, and retained in the event that the printed version is lost or damaged. Digitally signed PDF logbook entries help protect the value of the aircraft logbooks.
Quantum MX digital signatures may be used to sign off inspection of incoming and outgoing parts as referenced on Purchase Orders and Sales Orders. Inspectors may sign purchase order items when inspections are required, or when a formal sign off is required to document compliance with company procedures.
Quantum MX digital signatures are compliant with modern security standards and regulatory requirements including FAA AC120-78A.
